clothes and don’t know what to do with them?
Do you need a larger uniform and can’t afford to shop at the Scout
Shop? Then the Trading Post is
for you!

The Trading Post has been established to provide a means to recycle used and “trail-tested” uniform components and scouting gear at reduced prices. The Trading Post is open to all Scouts registered to Pack 143 and Troop 530.
The Trading Post offers the following items:

Donations
The Trading Post gladly accepts donations! Please wash or otherwise clean the item prior to bringing it to the Trading Post.

Rental
Policy
Certain scouting gear may be rented. Rental fees will be assessed according to value and condition of the item. In certain cases, a deposit may be required. Scouts are expected to take care of the rented item(s) and promptly return the item(s) in good condition when rental term is complete.
Sales
Policy
This is the price the customer pays the Trading Post for items. Used items at the Trading Post will be sold at cost plus 10%. New items will be sold at cost. Troop 530 “Scout Bucks” will be accepted.
Purchase
Policy
The Trading Post will purchase used uniforms and scouting gear based on the condition of the item(s). Please wash or otherwise clean the item prior to bringing it to the Trading Post.
Price paid for an item is based on the current new price at Scout Shop. Clothing items will be graded and priced as follows.
